A mad-cap fundraiser has popped 10,000 balloons – on a POGO STICK. Stuart Kettell, 50, spent two 10-hour days bouncing up and down on a pogo stick popping one balloon every seven seconds - completing the task at 15:30 on Saturday July 18. This challenge is the latest in a long line of annual challenges Stuart sets himself in a bid to raise over £3,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support and St Martin's Hospice. The self-proclaimed ‘mad-fool’ has previously pushed a Brussels sprout up Mount Snowdon with his nose and even completed seven marathons in seven days – in a giant hamster wheel. Stuart’s latest fundraising idea came after he was contacted with the idea by world champion pogo-er Jack Sexty, who completed the Manchester Marathon on a pogo stick. Incredibly, Stuart had never even used a pogo stick before.
