Economic activities at the Calabar seaport have continued to remain at its lowest ebb despite government's concession of the seaport.

 Members of the post- privatization monitoring team of the Bureau of Public Enterprise, BPE who on a routine assessment of the port decried the economic potentials of the seaport are not being harnessed.
