So many of you have been asking me to review a Mercedes-Benz. So here's the Benz Patent Motorwagen, the world's first car from 1886. As a special message to Saudi Arabia, if it weren't for a WOMEN, the first car wouldn't have existed. So I pledge for Saudi to stop being so chauvinistic and not allow women to drive. And for Mercedes-Benz Saudi Arabia, how do you mention Bertha Benz with a straight face when you talk about your history to customers to trainees? Anyway, here's the first car, created by Karl Benz. 

Many of you didn't know, that the modern day company, founded by Gottlieb Daimler and Wilheim Maybach, was not founded by Karl Benz. In fact, they both were the employees of Nikolaus Otto, the man who created the Otto cycle combustion engine, whose company soon became Bavarian Flugzeugwerk, and then becoming BMW in 1916, 10 years earlier than Daimler Motoren Gesselschaft (DMG) merged with Benz & Cie and the subsequent rename to Mercedes-Benz following the wildly successful Mercedes 35 model launched in 1901 by DMG. So yes, BMW celebrated 100 years because 1926 is the year they registered the brand, but Daimler's Mercedes-Benz was registered only in 1926. Amazing history between these two brands.
