My first prop build! I used EVA foam and Alumilite resin to make Malcolm Reynolds pistol from the TV series Firefly. This project is in celebration of Punished Props hitting 100K subscribers, and I tried out some new techniques for the project. I decided to test my foamsmithing skills for the majority of the gun, but I also used some Alumilite resin for all the small accessory parts as well as the barrel of the gun. I also used microballons with the casting of the barrel to try to lighten the weight of it and get some experience using that filler product. Overall, a really fun project that gave me some experience with new techniques and materials. Congrats to Punished Props for hitting a giant milestone, keep up the great work guys!
