Minister of Education, Anthony Garcia says the UWI Debe campus is expected to be ready for the academic year 2019/2020. In the Senate on Tuesday, he was asked to state how many students have been affected by the revised timeline, and date of completion for the facility by Opposition Senator Wade Mark. Minister Garcia said UWI has advised that given the delays caused by contractual matters and unpredictable weather, the campus management decided not to advertise programs to be offered at the Debe campus, for the 2018/2019 academic year.
