APD Arrests Suspect in 2nd Street Burglaries

Austin Police have arrested 44-year-old William Hughes in connection with a rash of break-ins on 2nd Street as well as other businesses around town, where a rock was used to break through glass doors. Hughes was caught Wednesday morning when police spotted a vehicle backed up to a business, inside Hughes was asleep behind the wheel with a large rock sitting on the passenger seat.
