The 14th and final stop of the Airush France demo tour was unlike the others before. After a massive day of driving from the Northern coastline, we arrived in the French Alps in the small town of Embrun where we were to present Airush at the Outdoor Mix sport and music festival. The festival combines extreme sports with some great music performances to create a 3 day action packed weekend with a wide variety of people attending the event.

In between the winding hills and the snow capped peaks lie valleys which funnel the glacial melt into gushing rivers and lakes. This particular lake which hosted the event, was a man made structure and about the size of a standard rugby field which made it quite tricky for kiting, especially for the foiling. The original idea of the event was to host a few kiting competitions namely foil racing, foil freestyle, and twin tip freestyle, but due to tricky conditions instead it was more of an expression session and the Airush team had a great time on the water displaying the latest Airush gear.
