Kicking off a new series on SLRcoaching.com where I interview an amateur photographer, discuss their background, what they want to achieve and what issues they face. Then I take a look through their kit and see what I can achieve by using what they already have. The purpose of this is not in any way to belittle the equipment they own or try to sell them some new kit but rather to show them that in most cases they can do far more than they realise with their current equipment. As I use their camera and lenses I'll show what I achieve and how I did it. Then I pass it back and hopefully teach them how to achieve it themselves. My purpose on this website is to inspire frustrated photographers and rekindle the passion that first got them into photography. I hope you can learn from this too and enjoy the site.
