Discipline from the Lord, verses the trials of a nonbeliever. I do want to say that I disagree with one minor point in this video. In Revelation chapter 3, God tells the Laodiceans that they are lukewarm. Both hot and cold water are good in this context, it is only the lukewarm water that is bad. I still need to look into the historical context behind this, but if anyone knows anything about this, please leave a comment, or send me an Email. I want to hypothesize that this might have something to do with the fact that bacteria in general (though not all) like to grow best at a lukewarm temperature, and so lukewarm water that has been sitting around would taste bad and make you sick. Then again, I am going for biotechnology, so perhaps I have a bias. Also, Job, the Bible says, went through a lot of trials but God said that it was not because of Sin.
