I think i speak for a good few of you when i say that Scream is one of the classics. Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson's 1996 horror film has shaped up to be one of my favourites in the genre.

It has the right amount of humour and the perfect amount of kick assery. Is that a word? Kick-assery.. Maybe. But it still stands. A fantastic horror film.

A fantastic horror film that producer Jason Blum would like to reboot. If only the rights weren't tangled up. What with MTV's Scream TV Series trying for the rights to the Ghostface character, we might not see a new film anytime soon.

I think it would be safe to assume that Jason isn't only looking at Scream & I Know What You Did Last Summer. He has also expressed interest in films such as (Friday the 13th, A Nightmare On Elm Street, John Carpenters classic "Christine" and many more)

So only time can tell what Blumhouse have in the works. If they spent 5 years getting ready to make Halloween happen, then i think they will fight for some other well known horror titans.
