A born Montrealer and Dawson Liberal Arts student, Alex Izak Levesque enthusiastically proposes his solutions to the growing complexity and polarization of the political sphere. From his earliest experiences as the first student body president of his elementary school to his success in international debate competitions (notably at Yale), Alex has sought the world of tough decisions and philosophical conundrums. Through the inspirational efforts of the many wise and intelligent people of character that have marked his life, Alex has identified a recurring order that emerges from complexity in many various systems. He has coupled this realization along with the opportunities presented by technological advancements to deliver a powerful new way for society to approach politics.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
