A huge swing of votes in its favor helped Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) to score a landslide victory in Telangana Assembly elections, according to poll officials.  The regional party on Tuesday polled about 46.9 percent votes winning 88 seats in the 119-member Assembly. It garnered a little over 97 lakh votes.  The Congress-led four party People's Front polled 32.8 percent votes (67.95 lakh) but finished with just 21 seats.
मतदान अधिकारियों के मुताबिक तेलंगाना विधानसभा चुनावों में भारी जीत हासिल करने के लिए तेलंगाना राष्ट्र समिति (टीआरएस) ने अपने पक्ष में वोटों की भारी झुकाव में मदद की। मंगलवार को क्षेत्रीय पार्टी ने 119 सदस्यीय असेंबली में 88 सीटें जीतकर 46.9 प्रतिशत मतों का चुनाव किया। इसने 97 लाख से ज्यादा वोट हासिल किए। कांग्रेस के नेतृत्व वाली चार पार्टी पीपुल्स फ्रंट ने 32.8 प्रतिशत वोट (67.9 5 लाख) का चुनाव किया लेकिन 21 सीटों पर समाप्त हुआ।
