Arab filmmakers are the focus of this year's Birds Eye View Film Festival, an annual, London-based celebration of women in cinema. At its launch on Wednesday, Jessica Holland talked to the festival's head of programming, Elhum Shakerifar, and Annemarie Jacir, the Palestinian writer-director of the multi-award winning opening-night film, When I Saw You, about the explosion of talent coming from the Arab world.
