We get a good reflection in the frozen lake as SY1771 2-8-2 crosses the National Road G203 and stops at the small halt of Sijiazi, on its way from Faku with a 7 coach passenger train from Diaobingshan. This SY was built in 1999 and is the penultimate standard gauge steam loco built in the world (with the exception of Tornado in the UK). The last built, SY1772, which is plated as 1999 but was outshopped in early 2000, was also based on the TieFa system. Recorded in November 2012.
