(7 Nov 2018) Hundreds of Communists marched in central Moscow on Wednesday to mark the anniversary of the October Revolution. Crowds held aloft banners of Vladimir Lenin and Josef Stalin as they hailed the day 101 years ago when Lenin overthrew the provisional government and set in decades of Communist rule. Addressing the crowds, current Communist party leader Gennady Zyuganov harked back to the days of the former Soviet Union, describing the anniversary as a celebration for the entire world. He also commented on the mid-term election results in the United States, saying that despite losing control of the House of Representatives, President Trump would still be able to block any law he didn't like.
