Opeth is a Swedish progressive metal band from Stockholm, formed in 1989. Lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Mikael Åkerfeldt has remained Opeth's primary driving force since the departure of original vocalist David Isberg in 1992. Opeth specialized in fusing progressive rock, folk music, and heavy metal. They are considered as the heavyweights of progressive metal along with Porcupine Tree and Dream Theater. Their music is very unique and one just has to experience it. Had a wonderful time watching them in Bangalore, India. This was the second time I saw them perform first was at the Saarang Festival in Chennai. These videos are for fans who couldn't make it to the concert. Best thing about my bootlegs are that the sound quality is quite decent to enjoy unlike other videos on YT. This one is from their latest album Heritage The devil's orchard and I feel the dark.
