In the late 90's and early 2000's, I lived with my friend Rodney Birge in Chandler Arizona. Every night, he would force me to get drunk with him and write songs for our band - Government Fun? This track is the third on the album, and illustrates Rodney's favorite songwriting technique. Everything in this song was %100 improvised (vocals and guitar) with only the premise established beforehand (in this case, my broken VCR). We are incredibly inebriated during this recording and it shows in the various flubs and nonsensical vocal fills, but despite its flaws this is Rodney's favorite cut on the album.
