End of every speculation as Brazilian master-mind Marcos Falopa becomes the new coach for KingFisher East Bengal to fill the void of Trevor James Morgan. The news is first revealed by XtraTime today. The battle for filling the shoes of the previous coach Trevor Morgan, the Red and Gold officials had short-listed the names of Falopa, The Dutch manager John Van Loen and the Argentine Rodolfo Zapata to sort the new coach for East Bengal. In the end it's Falopa who wins the battle to start the Brazilian reign in Indian football.

His son Americo Falopa becomes the goalkeeping as well as the fitness conditioning coach for East Bengal.The coaching team has now an agreement of one year.

Later in the night Falopa expressed his feeling to XtraTime after being selected as the new coach for East Bengal..
