My latest recording project... paying tribute to Holy Soldier. "Sand" was off of their 1995 cd entitled "Promise Man." This recording stuff is tricky business. Fun, though! I recorded samples of each drum beat using Garage Band, then processed and mixed them using Sony Sound Forge and Sony Vegas. Some notes: 1. I recorded the acoustic before acquiring the USB interface, so I first recorded it with the camera right up on the guitar, then recorded from further back, and mixed the A/V in vegas. 2. I made the mistake of adding drums last, which revealed a lot of rhythmic discrepancies. 3. This is the first time I used the electric for a replacement Bass guitar.
