A New Tool to Measure Good Jobs

Good jobs are good for business. This new tool, created through a partnership between the Good Companies/Good Jobs Initiative and Working Metrics, uses readily available data to analyze retention, wage and job growth, benefits, and diversity, to measure businesses’ treatment of workers compared to others in their industry. The Working Metrics cloud-based software system helps recognize “high-road” firms that offer good jobs and boosts workers’ opportunities by a helping firms include treatment of workers in their decision making, creating incentives for business change.
