On October 12, 1974, Yakima Valley Trolleys in Yakima, Wash., began operating two vintage streetcars built in 1928. This was Yakima's official U.S. Bicentennial project. Old 8mm movies capture the weekend's trolley operations and an encounter with the railroad's working steeple cab electric locomotive.
