- Salaatul Ayat - the prayer for the signs
- Reminds us of Allah's sign and glory
- In the past people would be scared when they saw an eclipse, they would even worship the sun and the moon
- When the son of the Prophet died, there was an eclipse and people said that was because of the Prophet's son passing away
- The Prophet responded by saying 'Verily the sun and the moon are two signs of Allah. They flow in the space according to his command and are obedient to him. They do not go into eclipse because of the death of someone. Whenever the eclipse happens, you do the Salaat and remember Allah (S.W.T)
- Naming a child related to the position and timing of the star? This is Muslims taking things from Hindu culture and religion. The sun and the moon have an impact of the earth, but it doesn't make us lose control
- We should not celebrate our own events on days of sadness with the Ahlul Bayt
- All events before and after the Nikaah technically have no relevance in Islam
- There is no problem with these cultural events as long as they do not clash with Islamic values
- Takbir in Salaat declares Allah's greatness. Even the power and strength that we use to stand up and down during Namaz is because of Allah
- We take pride in Islam that we have maintained the Tawheed of Allah from Ibrahim (A.S.)
- "'Verily the sun and the moon are two signs of Allah. They flow in space according to his command and are obident to him. They do not go into eclipse because of the death of someone. Whenever the eclipse happens, you do the Salaat and remeber Allah (S.W.T)" - Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.)
