After 12 years since Duke Nukem 3D was released Gearbox Software has helped 3D Realms with the final touches on an epic video game. Duke begins this episode in the EDF helicopter that is transporting him to Hover Dam. Unfortunately it gets hit by alien attack ships that cause the helicopter to crash, but Duke bails out first. He lands high up in what use to be the observatory for the Duke Burger. Tentacles and corrosive alien pods are everywhere that Duke looks. Up here he can see the devastation that the alien invasion has created for Las Vegas. He comes across hidden "developer" Frisbees for 3D Realms, Gearbox, and Triptych before crash landing on the back of an alien into the Duke Burger.
