Factory 2nd Replica of the classic 1968 PLANET of the APES screen-used movie prop. This is an ECONOMY "dummy" model with spring-loaded trigger, but no other moving parts. The finish has a few cosmetic flaws, but otherwise it is a great tribute piece for cosplay or collector. Us "ape kids" always wanted one of these when way back in the day, but Mattel was only rehashing old cowboy pistols, Winchesters, and Tommy Guns... http://apemania.com/TOYS/ToyMasks&guns.jpeg http://apemania.com/TOYS/WHAT_IT_WASx3.jpg Slapping a Planet of the Apes sticker on a six shooter doesn't make it a Planet of the Apes gun! Who did they think they were kidding? Not us kids! So we made our own!
