It's alternate 1939 and Jazz is still outlawed. Our Radio pirate Zephyr is still bringin' you the swing his little Jazzbabies need. Please leave a comment. I worked for a while on this and it would really mean a lot to me to get some feedback. The muses represent some of the nine muses in Greek mythology. I only shot Calliope, the muse of epics (in the army uniform), Euterpe, the muse of lyrics (writing the silly little love poem), Terpsichore, the muse music (the girl with the radio), Melpomene, the muse of tragedy (obviously the girl with the teardrop painted on her face) and the youngest Honeybee (the girl in the diner running about all over the place) is Urania (astronomy). Maybe it's because she's young and starry eyed *lame joke*. I sort of count Missy Mercury as one of the muses even though she is a combination of Hermes (Mercury) and Artemis (where "Missy" comes from). I can see her as Thalia, the muse of comedy. She is a funny sort of girl. I would have gotten the rest of the girls but quite frankly I didn't have time or a camera. Sorry :( A little background on the characters: Zephyr is the son of a jazz musician who traveled to New Orleans in search of a job. He met his future wife, Madam Faust, in a seedy night club called the Canary Cage. After taking her and the other Canary girls away from the club and it's abusive owner, Ol' Scratch Jackson, Zephyr and Faust are married. They then meet Orpheus, is a young widower that hopes to become a songwriter, who ends up playing trumpet for their recordings. Missy Mercury is a mechanic's daughter that delivers the SUZY records. Her much older half brother is Sunny Apollo, who is also close friends with Faust and Zephyr. He was a former musician at the Canary Cage. He lives with the former Canary girls (the Muses) in a swamp house called Jazzland. There is more to the story but you have to wait! Well hope you enjoyed! Mad Love!
