Economic Trade Zone among Sewerage and Water System Infrastructure to be Established in Sandaun

The National Government has focused its attention to establish an economic trade zone in Sandaun Province. National Planning Minister, Richard Maru, and Government officials arrived in the province capital, Vanimo, last week to open dialogue and carryout other assessments in the province. The delegation included internal Affairs Minister, Kevin Isifu, PNG Defense Force Commander, Brigadier Gilbert Toropo, and Transport Secretary, Roy Mumu among others. The Planning Minister says 3 anchor projects are targeted for Sandaun Province.
