This is it! "The Hunt for Matthews" comes to a close. Or, to put it more honestly, "The Tim Horton's I frequent have run out of cards." It was bound to happen sooner or later. But look what we managed to accomplish:

- The entire 100-card base set: DONE.
- The "Top 100" subset: DONE.
- The "Game Day Action" subset: DONE.
- The "Stat Makers" subset: DONE.
- The "Platinum Profiles" subset: Just missing Lundqvist and Zetterberg. If you were in the set and have a long name, I probably didn't find your card.
- The "Clear Cut" subset: Tons. Hard cards to find. Got 4 out of 14, Matthews is one of the missing.
- The "Triple Exposure" subset: Everyone wants these cards. Got 2 out of 12, only Marchand and Tarasenko. Absent are the big names, like Ovechkin, Laine, Crosby, and of course, Matthews.

I had a much-better run this year than last, so I can't complain. Next year, we'll get a box right off the bat and go nuts!!!

And the 'Hunt for Matthews' is not really over...I still don't have a '17-'18 Matthews card from MVP, OPC and Artifacts. Perhaps, this is the "Never-ending Hunt"...
