Celebrity Journalist, Media Icon, and Chef Rueben Wood is making his mark as he becomes the leader of a young generation of entrepreneurs that have million dollar success dreams. 

Previously known as the music artist Yung Bank, Chef Rueben Wood has now made a new name for himself by making his way through the entertainment industry as a young business owner. From the stage to now behind the scenes of it all, Wood is using the experience he gained as an artist to get his start in marketing and advertising.

The 23 year old who is originally from Brunswick, GA, has made the transition by becoming a Media Icon, radio host for his own show and most importantly, the owner of Spaced Out Magazine. “Being the owner of Spaced Out Magazine naturally became more successful since I put more energy into it than I did my music career,” Wood stated.

Created back in 2011, Spaced Out Magazine is reaching audiences from various angles and is becoming one of the most credible news outlets online today. Wood’s purpose to create the magazine was to help independent artists and business owners gain recognition at a rapid pace. “I prefer the world of media. Since me starting, there hasn’t been a day that I wake up and feel like I need to follow a trend since now I set trends by who I promote through my media outlet,” he stated.

Throughout his career as a journalist, Woods has had the opportunity to meet a list of entertainers, celebrities and other business owners. His most memorable meet was with TLC’s T-Boz stating, “ that was one of the highlights of my career. I was really humbled.” During this year’s “Green Carpet” at the BET Hip-Hop Awards, he had an even better opportunity to meet and interview artists from Kevin Gates to hit producer DJ Mustard. 

Furthermore, Wood has recently signed a distribution deal with Sony’s label, The Orchard, to release soundtracks and other works for his label.
