This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. The journey of one man and how he transformed his house from an ordinary one to a Green Home using ordinary materials and simple systems. His home is currently the only house that is off the grid in Cebu City.

Councilor Archival is beyond politics: His service extends to example. An engineer by profession, he built and designed the Archival EcoHouse, a breathing, self-sustaining house built with the environment in mind. His work is a statement that no matter where you are, and what you do, you do your part as a piece in the puzzle that is the big picture.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
