Mount Vernon's upper garden has undergone a five-year archaeological dig and is now being dug up and then replanted to better reflect what it looked like in George Washington's time. Visitors familiar with the estate's terrain will notice quite a few plants missing at this stage in the project. Filmed and produced by Becca Milfeld. Music by David and Ginger Hildebrand.
