figured id get out and get some outside time in. doing one of the things i love doing. its been a good wile since i was in a good snow storm that had just the right kind of snow for building things in. its common that its eather too fluff (the point where it seems dry and wont pack, great for ski-ing tho. or too slushy. at the point where its soo wet that it just mushes when you try to compact it. anyway. this storm we just got recently was just perfect! the snow compacted nicely... for the first half of the day at least. so i figured id do something that hasn't been done in a wile. MAKE A SNOW FORT! seems a bit childish. but i don't care. i like snow sculpting. its like building with sand... but on a grand scale. and it destroys itself over time. so no cleanup. unless you used a few helping items such as a park bench and tires etc. lol this is part 1. because i know ill be doing more work to it. and showing another vid on progress. and hopefully a larger pile of snow to expand it and add rooms and tunnels and maybe even a secret passage/trap door area.
