Let's talk about how to get your photography featured, published, and shared. No matter what kind of photographer you are - you may want to have your work published or shared so that you can grow your business or simply accomplish that as a personal goal. Today I'm sharing with you some simple steps for how you can get your photos published, featured, and shared. STEP 1: Set clear goals for WHY you want to get featured/published/shared before you start submitting STEP 2: Don't overlook social media when it comes to getting featured. This can grow your audience and reach very quickly! STEP 3: Use unique hashtags when sharing the work that you hope to get featured STEP 4: Curate seasonal/themed content when you are submitting to editors. This will give you an advantage because you are submitting a whole piece of content vs. just a beautiful photo. STEP 5: Start your research at a major bookstore or library to see what publication options you have for submitting your work to. You can also easily find the editor contact information here as well. STEP 6: Follow all submission guidelines STEP 7: Remember it's a quality over quantity situation MORE TIPS and a FREE checklist for submissions: https://youtu.be/IDcgvjwtYas The software I use to manage clients - Honeybook - get 50% off - http://share.honeybook.com/fTi8j Gear I use for weddings: Clear umbrellas https://amzn.to/2JyjCq7 Pelican Case: https://goo.gl/0d0HsP Nikon Camera body D4: https://amzn.to/2MqpaVo Nikon Camera Body D610: http://amzn.to/2eJLpY6 Nikon 70-200mm 2.8: https://goo.gl/TbyfUm Nikon 50mm 1.4: http://amzn.to/2ejjijU Nikon 60mm 2.8 Macro: http://amzn.to/2fwAyj5 Nikon 85mm 1.4: http://amzn.to/2fBTfRp Nikon 24-70mm 2.8: http://amzn.to/2fQlr7O Gepe memory card case: http://amzn.to/2fkYLZd Zeiss cleaning wipes: http://amzn.to/2eJLIlI Nikon Sb910 flash: http://amzn.to/2fBUDDp Pocket Wizard Triggers: http://amzn.to/2fBUyQf Genaray Video light: http://amzn.to/2fY5XxU Hoya close up filters: http://amzn.to/2fkYc1B Rain cover for cameras: http://amzn.to/2qFXyAj LETS CONNECT FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/joymichellep...
