The NYPD is seeking the public's assistance with the whereabouts and identity of the following individual in connection to an assault. The circumstances are as follows: On Friday, August 16, 2013, at 12:39 a.m., a M/B/31 was standing in front of 375 East 188th Street, when a M/B approached him with a shotgun and fired one shot striking the victim in the leg. The victim was transported to Saint Barnabus Hospital in stable condition. The suspect fled the location to parts unknown. Suspect: M/B wearing a white hooded sweatshirt. Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
