Ali Arango of arangodigitalproduction.com shows how to create basic swinging text in Blender 2.69. Though this effect is very simple, it is usually done in adobe After Effects.

 Once this text is created, the Blender file can be saved and then the text in the file can be changed to whatever  text that you would like.
