Driving down Route 23 North in Wayne toward Pequannock a couple of days after Hurricane Irene struck on August 28, 2011 in NJ. Alexander Ave is still closed and lined with orange construction cones. So many businesses and homes got flooded, and the really sad part is that most of them just had to clean up in March of this year. I wont be surprised if a lot of these stores relocate rather than rebuild and face the same possibility of another flood down the road. The A&P was totally redone inside in March because of the last flood and they got hit bad again.

A huge pile of sandbags can be seen in the A&P parking lot.

Excuse the terrible videoing as my eyes are on the road as I drive, so I'm guessing what I'm videoing and it shows.
