' Screwy superintendent? Rich Girard runs an appropriately irreverent talk show on WLMW-FM in the Manchester, NH area.  When he approached Hooksett school superintendent Charles Littlefield with a presumably tough question...Girard says the educrat told him to "go screw."  So I drop by one of his jailschool meetings, where I get treatment that is only a little better. However while I'm there I tour the building, and you know what?  I find some silver linings in the usual govt school clouds.

During the visit, I set down a jacket in an initially hidden spot.  It disappears. When I query an educrat about it, he seems vaguely hostile.  But the cleaning staff take the issue pretty seriously...finding & returning it to me. 

But the top bureaucrat, who I'm really here to see and question, is about to leave.  '
