Unisen is introducing a DVR (Digital Video Recorder), model IR0001, for the iPod Video and USB mass storage drives. This DVR is able to record TV direct to the iPod Video and also to a USB drive. Video is recorded in MPEG-4 format, at a maximum resolution of 640x480 at 30fps. A host PC and iTunes are not required to convert files before recording. This DVR has a super-slim appearance with buttons for Play, Pause, Rewind and Forward/Backward. In addition, video from the iPod Video can be played back on a TV via IR0001. The complete set includes an infrared remote control for easy setup on a TV screen. The DVR's firmware can be upgraded via a USB drive
