Synopsis: A 47 year old female was driving her Toyota Prius southbound in the #3 lane of 900 4th Ave. A 30 year old male was riding a scooter eastbound along the south sidewalk. The Prius entered the intersection on a green light. The scooter ran the red light and broadsided the Prius. The scooter rider was transported to the hospital with a brain bleed. There was no alcohol involved. San Diego Police Traffic Division is investigating.
