According to a list presented to PAC by the Housing Ministry, 16 judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan have been allotted residential plots in Islamabad over the last two years on the orders of PM Gilani under a scheme called 'Prime Ministers Assistance Package'. In a country where about 50 percent of people live in slums and there is a shortage of 6 million housing units, the priority of the government seems to keep influential position holders happy. Host Arshad Sharif discusses with his guests if the poor and downtrodden could ever be beneficiaries of such government favors.
