The American Political System has been broken for awhile now, and when we the people of this planet talk about it as if it still has legitimacy, we are perpetuating the illusion. It's bad for us to do this, like drinking poison. What we need to do is think of other things we can do to get off this addiction to the way politics used to be before they were sold to the highest bidder. I suggest cough drops.
