Most businesses trying to use email marketing totally screw this up. In this video, I'll show you how to know for sure who should send your messages.

People want to communicate with people, they don't want to get messages from 'companies'. That why you should virtually always send messages from a person and not from your company.

Each message should also be signed by a single person (the person most appropriate - owner, manager, CEO, etc) and not 'The Team' or 'Company Name'. The only occasion when this MAY not be the best option is if your readers have not heard from you in a while, or if they don't know who you are.

If this is the case, you could use a hybrid 'From' field, such as - John Jones [CPA Industries]

As I've said in other videos in this series, if you send messages that look like the kind of thing a friend would send, you'll have more people opening and raiding them, and you'll make a lot more money as a result.

And remember, always write like you talk. As you put your message together, imagine you are sitting down at a cafe with a friend, having a drink and a chat. Write your message in the same way as you'd talk to your friend.

Don't use big words or hype, use the normal everyday language you use to talk with your friends, and your message will be read, understood, and in a lot of cases, acted upon.
