Children are bearing the brunt of a devastating humanitarian crisis in the eastern province of Tanganyika in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where conflicts between the Twa, the Luba and other ethnic groups have forced thousands of people to abandon their homes. Faced with extreme poverty, hunger and disease, displaced children as young as five years old are being put to work to help support their parents.
