testing how a thing looks when rendered first full speed, then half I think it looks pretty good as long as you don't turn on motion blur. But I'm thinking of just not using motion blur unless I absolutely have to. None of the stylized effects I do really cooperate well with SFM's constant heavy motion blur. And trying to turn it down just makes it worse.
