Cobra Replacar Damaged in shipping

This Cobra replica was shipped from the east coast 2 years ago . When they loaded it onthe transport vehicle the side pipes bottomed out and got shoved into the fiberglass fenders . We repaired the cracks and touched up the fenders . In the process of doing this we noticed that the car had blisters all over it . They appeared to be solvent or moisture blisters . The owner had just paid to have the car painted on the east coast before moving to Washinton . He contacte the shopp that had painted the car and they agreed to pay to have the car shipped back east so they could strip and refinsh it . They did a nice job repairing it but same issue in transport the pipes got shoved into the fenders again and cracked the fenders out . We decided to cut an addiational 1/2 inch clearance around the top and rear of the opening so hopefully this will never happen again . I would suggest to any Cobra owners that run in to this type of problem to modify the opening a little to gain clearance for the pipes to fles .
