The Wallraf-Richartz Museum in Cologne is currently hosting an exhibition about la luna,that shows how people have been drawn to the Moon,both optically and artistically,over the last five hundred years. Reflecting the great fascination that the moon has exerted on people since time immemorial,the broad array of exhibits ranges from mediaeval panel paintings to astronomical instruments,Romantic paintings,and photos of space travel and contemporary art.
