United Nations, New York, 28 May 2009 - Calling the scale of the displacement of civilians fleeing clashes between the Government and militants in north-west Pakistan unprecedented, the top United Nations humanitarian official today called on donors to fund an appeal for over $500 million to help the over 2 million uprooted.
