Fernando Padilla is co-founder of "Rincón Empresarial" and founder of "Uniproyecto". Before starting his career as an entrepreneur,he participated in several leadership and social related activities. He participated in a religious group called "Exodo" and several other student activities. During his high school years, he co-founded a student association group called "Lideres de Vanguardia" (Vanguard Leaders); a group created with the purpose of spreading a leadership philosophy based on helping others achieve a better life. These activities lead him to obtain a leadership college scholarship. He now serves as a volunteer in Narices Rojas", an organization which goal is to enhance the living conditions of children with cancer. He is currently developing "Uniproyecto" as a venture, to help with the collaboration between businesses and college students.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
