I just wanted to demonstrate the correct stick heights and the difference in accented notes and non-accented notes for the Paradiddle. It's very important to maintain this if you want it to sound right! I see so many young players get this basic rudiment wrong and it's mostly down to the fact that the non- accented notes are too loud and there isn't enough difference in the stick heights.
Watch and see that only when playing the accented notes, I raise the sticks higher than the table top in the background. The rest remain below this level.
Record yourself and practice SLOWLY until you can play it evenly. Then try notching up the tempo gradually.
