On a hot summer afternoon under scorching sunlight, Ernakulam (ERS) WDM-3A # 14123 climbing mild gradient with 12284 Hazrat Nizamuddin - Ernakulam Duronto Express clashing at MPS with Gujarati's favorite, 12933 Karnavati Express hauled by Amul advertised, Vadodara (BRC) WAP-5 # 30067. It was a sudden attack by Karnavati for us. Thanks to LP for honking to us. Notice the friendly ALP waving to someone at LC gate. Ernakulam Duronto is the longest running Duronto of Indian Railways and only Duronto which gets overtaken by another Duronto.
