On Saturday September 1st, fight fans will see the big boys take the stage as King in the Ring 8 Man Elimination series presents their "King in the Ring - The Ultimates" event! In addition to the other exciting match ups on the card, New Zealand's top eight super heavyweights will fight to become the last man standing in what is sure to be an exciting display of skill, heart, and determination. These 8 warriors will battle it out in a survival series of explosive, three-round, elimination fights to get their hands on the coveted King in the Ring Super Heavyweight crown. On the heels of the successful King in the Ring MAX62 event in May, this promises to be yet another stellar night of K-1 style action. King in the Ring lets a wide array of New Zealand's top stand up fighters square off, bringing together their own techniques born from Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Kung Fu, Karate, and other martial arts to be fought under international K-1 rules. With a mix of the well-seasoned experienced fighters, and the promising new blood, the luck of the draw can only go so far.
